This weekend, we took a drive to the West Coast. While there, we visited The Gravels walking trail in Port au Port. The area contains many beautiful and oddly shaped rock formations like this one:
If you walk down by the shoreline, you can also find fossils embedded in the rock. This shot is of an Ammonite fossil:

Cosmos
A cosmos flower at MUN botanical gardens. I shot this picture using Geoff's Xti with his new 85mm lens. He was very kind to let me snap off a few pictures after I realized that I had forgotten to bring along a memory card. Funny enough, I had been so concerned with the fact that I had forgotten to charge my battery that I totally forgot to pack my card!
