Halfway there!

Photo of the week #26: A quick shot of some new growth on the Potentilla plant in our backyard. To be honest, I'm a bit surprised that the plant is still alive. It had originally been growing in a pot on my deck at the condo and was very sadly neglected while I was living there. Hopefully I'll be able to give it much more attention here at the house though!

I thought I'd also post a few extras that I've taken over the last few weeks but have only now had time to process. This first shot was taken on our photowalk to Cape Spear. The beautiful colors in the background of the photo were the result of the colorful rock that was sitting behind the branch:
